Guru Hari Ramamurthy is a much revered and most respected teacher in the field of dance. He is known, not only for his unique command and artistry in the field of Kuchipudi, but also for his simplicity, devotion and integrity in the field of classical arts. He has more than 35 years of experience in this art field. Born in Kuchipudi, the birth place of this art form, Guru Hari Rama Murthy is one of the gifted disciples of the Legend- Padma Bhushan Dr. Vempati Chinna Satyam. He underwent training in Kuchipudi Art Academy and performed in all major Dance Ballet festivals in India and abroad as noted below. He is the one of the senior most students of Dr. Vempati Chinna Satyam. Hari Ramamurthy played major roles in Guru Dr. Vempati’s dance ballets.

Hari Ramamurthy participated in all major festivals in India. To name a few, Konarc Festival, Kazuraho Festival, Sangeeta Nataka Academy Festivals, Dordarshan Hyderabad, Chennai, Bangalore, Kolkatta, and Andhra University Youth Festivals. Presently he works as a Principal of the Kuchipudi Kalakshetra established by Dr. Vempati Chinna Satyam. Kalakshetram students are honored to be associated with Guru Hari Ramamurthy and very fortunate to learn Kuchipudi art style. As a Principal of Kuchipudi Kalakshetra, Guru Hari Rama Murthy is a source of inspiration for many students, who consistently brings out the best in them. Dedication and involvement are his key attributes which he passes on to the students of Kalakshetra. He is assisted by other teachers to spread this art form. He choreographed numerous solo items and presented them in various Sabah's throughout India and abroad. He also choreographed Mohini Basmasura Ballet which is going to be staged soon at Kalabharathi Auditorium, Visakhapatnam.
